Job Overview

A nationally recognized defense litigation firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its Las Vegas office. This position offers the opportunity to manage a full caseload of complex general liability matters involving premises liability, transportation, and trucking defense. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Location

• Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties

• Independently manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution

• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and status reports

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy

• Maintain consistent communication with clients and comply with client guidelines

• Meet deadlines and manage case progress effectively across multiple files

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience with an emphasis in:

  • General liability

  • Premises liability

  • Trucking and transportation defense

• Prior experience managing caseloads with minimal supervision

• Ability to meet litigation deadlines in a high-volume environment

• Familiarity with client billing guidelines and reporting procedures

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada

• Member in good standing with the Nevada State Bar

Skills

• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

• Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities

• Detail-oriented with strong time and case management skills

• Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

• Familiarity with legal project management principles is a plus
