Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking an experienced and driven Trial Attorney to join its litigation team. The role focuses exclusively on managing personal injury and property damage cases post-pre-suit, through resolution or jury verdict. With a strong internal support structure, the firm enables attorneys to focus solely on litigation and courtroom advocacy. Duties:

• Handle a caseload of approximately 35–40 active litigation files

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial

• Serve as lead counsel in jury trials across the state of Florida

• Collaborate with assigned paralegals and legal assistants on case preparation and support tasks

• Attend continuing education seminars and trial workshops to enhance litigation skills

• Coordinate with expert and fact witnesses for depositions and trial testimony

• Navigate complex discovery procedures and legal filings

• Maintain communication with clients and internal legal teams

• Meet performance metrics related to case progression and outcomes

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida and good standing

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury or related areas

• Demonstrated trial experience, including first-chair roles in jury trials

• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and case management

• Previous experience handling depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

• Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced legal setting

• Bilingual proficiency is a plus

• Familiarity with SmartAdvocate® software is advantageous

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership with The Florida Bar

Skills:

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• High level of professionalism and attention to client service

• Analytical thinker with effective problem-solving skills
