Duties

• Advise clients on a range of family law matters with empathy and strategic insight

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and agreements

• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

• Represent clients in court hearings, settlement conferences, and mediations

• Negotiate settlements and manage high-conflict family law issues

• Communicate regularly with clients and maintain strong client relationships

• Participate in firm meetings and collaborate with colleagues on best practices

• Help maintain the firm’s reputation for client-centered, compassionate legal services

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in Oregon (in good standing)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law litigation (preferred)

• Experience appearing in court and handling contested family law matters

• Strong drafting, research, and litigation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent time management, organizational, and client communication skills

• Dedication to delivering high-quality legal service with professionalism and compassion

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Oregon (required)
