Job Overview:
An established law firm is seeking a non-partnership track attorney to join its Intellectual Property practice group, specifically within the Trademark, Copyright, Advertising, and Media (T-CAM) team. This position is ideal for an attorney with a minimum of two years of experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement who is looking for consistent, high-quality legal work with autonomy. The role is hybrid in nature, with a flexible in-office schedule and compensation aligned with hours expectations. Business development is not a requirement.

Location:

• Indianapolis, IN

Duties:

• Handle a consistent volume of trademark prosecution and online enforcement matters

• Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications and responses to office actions

• Conduct clearance searches and manage trademark portfolios

• Address online brand protection and takedown efforts

• Collaborate with IP attorneys across offices to implement enforcement strategies

• Engage in client-facing legal work without business development responsibilities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement

• Comfortable with managing a steady caseload independently

• Available to work in a hybrid setting with 2–3 office days per week

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar

Skills:

• Proficient in U.S. trademark law, online enforcement, and prosecution procedures

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
