Duties:

• Handle insurance coverage and commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to, professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery-related documents.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including motion practice and depositions.
• Represent clients in court appearances and hearings.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding complex claims and coverage issues.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
• Independently manage cases while collaborating with senior attorneys and the litigation team.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Experience in managing complex litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Strong deposition and court appearance experience.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Virginia (or eligibility for admission via reciprocity).

Skills:
