A respected personal injury law firm in Manhattan is seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team. This full-time, in-person role involves managing plaintiff-side personal injury cases from intake through trial. Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from start to finish

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law, premises liability, and tort law issues

• Collect and review relevant evidence including medical records, insurance documentation, and accident reports

• Attend court proceedings, mediations, depositions, and trials

• Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

• Advise clients on legal options and case strategies

• Collaborate with paralegals and legal staff to ensure efficient case handling

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation

• Experience handling trials and court appearances

• Deep understanding of New York tort law and civil procedure

• Strong track record of successful case outcomes and client advocacy

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently

• Commitment to delivering high-quality legal representation to injured clients

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Bachelor’s degree required

Certifications

• Active and in-good-standing admission to the New York State Bar

Skills

• Strong negotiation, litigation, and communication skills

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting

• Familiarity with medical terminology and related legal concepts
