Duties:

• Support case preparation for personal injury and medical malpractice claims from intake through resolution

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and motions

• Conduct legal research related to liability, damages, and evidentiary issues

• Assist with depositions, client interviews, and expert witness coordination

• Prepare settlement documentation and trial materials

• Collaborate with senior litigators on strategy, timelines, and client communication

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury or related litigation

• Familiarity with New York civil procedure and applicable tort law

• Ability to manage multiple cases under supervision in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and responsiveness

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Strong written and oral advocacy
