An established law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its legal team remotely from Savannah, GA. The successful candidate will support litigation efforts in coordination with the firm's Atlanta office. Duties

• Review and assess incoming case files to establish legal strategy, timelines, and budgets

• Draft pleadings and coordinate paralegal support for documentation needs

• Manage discovery processes, including preparation of responses and document production

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and discovery-related events; submit comprehensive reports

• Negotiate settlements and obtain settlement authority where required

• Prepare for and potentially represent cases in trial

• Maintain effective communication with legal assistants and paralegals

Requirements

• 3–4 years of legal practice experience (insurance defense experience preferred)

• Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar

• Ability to independently manage multiple legal tasks and priorities

• Demonstrated initiative and dependability in delivering high-quality legal services

• Strong understanding of litigation processes and client service standards

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar License in the State of Georgia (Required)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
