Job Title: Mid-Level General Liability Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Mount Laurel, NJ, is seeking a mid-level litigation attorney to support its expanding general liability practice. This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional with courtroom confidence and hands-on litigation experience across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The role involves managing a caseload from inception to resolution, including client interaction, discovery, depositions, legal writing, and court appearances. The position offers flexibility for in-office or remote work, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and location.

Duties:

• Oversee a docket of general liability cases in New Jersey and Pennsylvania

• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documentation

• Conduct and defend depositions of parties and experts

• Respond to written discovery and prepare discovery requests

• Argue motions and attend court hearings

• Deliver legal analysis and strategic advice to clients

• Collaborate with team members on case strategy and trial preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, particularly in defending liability-related claims

• Admission to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a full caseload

• Proven experience with court appearances, motion practice, and depositions

• Familiarity with handling insurance defense, automobile claims, premises liability, and other general liability matters

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar memberships in New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and analytical abilities

• Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and oral

• Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and case priorities

• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to litigation

• Skilled in legal research and case law analysis
