Job Overview

Duties

• Handle a significant volume of cases in the field of creditor's rights.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
• Make court appearances and manage related travel requirements.
• Assist in growing the firm's presence as a top-performing firm.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Rhode Island Bar; Massachusetts membership is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the default space.
• Familiarity with Rhode Island law; Massachusetts experience is a plus.
• Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Rhode Island Bar; additional Bar licenses are a plus.
