Duties

• Represent insurance carriers and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) in workers' compensation claims.
• Handle litigation matters before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
• Conduct legal research, prepare case strategies, and draft legal documents.
• Manage client interactions and provide strategic guidance to instill confidence and foster business growth.
• Make in-person court appearances as required.

Requirements

• Specific experience in defending insurance carriers and TPAs in workers' compensation matters.
• Knowledge of California workers' compensation law and procedures.
• Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to practice law in California.
• Ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar membership or eligibility to practice in California.
