Duties

• Draft and respond to written discovery and legal briefs

• Conduct depositions

• Attend court appearances, trials, and arbitration hearings

• Perform legal research and assess potential legal risks

• Participate in all phases of case prosecution and management

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in civil litigation within a law firm setting

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Texas

• Proven ability to manage caseload independently and within a team

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas
