File Clerk/Receptionist
The candidate will insert paperwork into existing files, keep correspondence current and in chronological order, organize and index pleadings, create inserts for other materials to be filed, and search for missing files. Will deliver excellent internal and external client service in a pleasant and professional manner while greeting clients and visitors to the firm. Organize files, create pleading indexes, close files, and work with the records department. Process invoices and submit check requests for payment. Project support under legal assistant or paralegal supervision. Errand such as delivery of documents to opposing counsel and the courthouse. Electronic file management, including saving emails to Filesite, the document management system. Scan incoming mail and disperse to the legal assistants or saving to Filesite. Copy and scanning projects. Assist with large mailings. Prepare UPS/FEDEX slips for overnight delivery. Answer and direct phone calls. Greet clients and visitors. Organize and schedule conference room appointments. Log deliveries and pick-ups. Coordinate and order catering for lunches and events. Schedule Zoom meetings. Handle parking validations as well as HVAC requests for the office. High school diploma or GED is required. Should preferably have 1+ years of work experience in an office setting.
