A law firm seeks a Real Estate Transactional Associate for its Nashville, TN office. The position requires 2nd to 6th year associates with solid real estate transactional experience, particularly in real estate lending and joint venture financing, ideally involving tax credits.

Duties

• Draft senior, real estate secured loan documents and joint venture partnership agreements.
• Review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys.
• Oversee paralegal title and survey review.
• Represent lenders, investors, and syndicators in tax credit-related real estate financings.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Tennessee.
• Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Experience with tax credit transactions preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in Tennessee.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Ability to review and analyze title and survey documents.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
