Job Title: Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview: A prominent law firm based in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney to join its legal team. This role involves partnering with a Senior Attorney to handle personal injury cases from inception to pretrial stages. The position requires experience in plaintiff's personal injury law, with an emphasis on client advocacy, legal research, and case preparation to support clients in their pursuit of justice and fair compensation.

Duties:

• Collaborate with a Senior Attorney to manage plaintiff's personal injury cases from initial filing through pretrial phases.
• Conduct thorough investigations, claim evaluations, and draft legal documents.
• Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Assess the viability of potential cases, determining whether they meet firm criteria for acceptance and strategizing case approaches.
• Conduct in-depth legal research, analyze case law, and prepare arguments to strengthen client cases.
• Work alongside legal assistants, paralegals, and other attorneys to maintain an efficient and organized workflow.
• Ensure timely and precise documentation and communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in plaintiff’s personal injury cases.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar (mandatory).
• Additional admission to the New York State Bar is highly preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in New Jersey.
• Additional New York State Bar admission (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in case management, organization, and client relationship management.
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish or Portuguese (preferred).
