A distinguished family law firm in San Diego is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. Location:

• San Diego, California

Duties:

• Represent clients in complex family law litigation matters

• Handle all stages of case development, including discovery, motions, hearings, and trial preparation

• Collaborate with a dedicated legal team including discovery attorneys, forensic CPAs, and client service professionals

• Maintain high levels of communication and professionalism with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

• Provide strategic legal advice tailored to client goals and case specifics

• Attend internal training and professional development sessions

Requirements:

• Prior experience in family law litigation (strongly preferred)

• Demonstrated interest in or commitment to practicing family law

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong professional ethics and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Strong litigation skills including motion practice and courtroom presence

• Ability to manage a high volume of cases with efficiency

• Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills

• Comfortable using legal technology and practice management systems
