A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level attorney to support litigation and claims management for a major logistics services provider with operations across the United States. This role involves supervising claims, overseeing litigation across multiple jurisdictions, and managing national risk mitigation strategies. The position is ideal for attorneys with strong backgrounds in commercial transportation litigation, casualty defense, and regulatory compliance. A hybrid work structure is available, with preference for candidates based near Hartford, Connecticut.

Oversee and manage a litigation caseload independently from inception through resolution
Lead a national claims program on behalf of a large logistics client
Work collaboratively with internal legal teams and partners
Communicate directly with clients, providing strategic advice and timely updates
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and company protocols
Negotiate settlements, draft agreements, and represent client interests effectively
Coordinate with cross-functional departments across firm locations
5–15 years of litigation experience in general casualty, commercial, governmental, or administrative law
Background in transportation, logistics, trucking, and related regulatory matters preferred
Familiarity with legal challenges in the e-commerce or gig economy space preferred
Experience managing national liability claims programs highly desirable
Client counseling and direct advisory experience preferred
Prior experience with eDiscovery and litigation technology tools
Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal matters across jurisdictions
Legal project or process management skills are a plus
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
Active and in good standing with a state bar
Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and oral communication abilities
Strong negotiation and advocacy capabilities
Technologically proficient with legal management tools and platforms
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to balance litigation strategy and business objectives
