A highly regarded law firm in Houston, TX, seeks a motivated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. Duties

• Independently manage a full caseload of family law matters from initial intake through final resolution

• Provide consistent, professional client communication, including monthly updates and weekly case reviews

• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and court proceedings with confidence and competence

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence

• Participate in performance tracking using legal practice management software

• Collaborate with legal leadership to recommend improvements to case handling and client experience processes

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years practicing family law in Texas

• Active Texas Bar license held for at least 2 years

• Demonstrated courtroom experience and enthusiasm for client representation

• Comfortable handling mediations and client consultations

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas (active and in good standing)

Skills

• Proficient in legal research and persuasive writing

• Experience with family law case management tools such as Clio, TxDoc, or comparable platforms

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
