A law firm seeks a dedicated associate litigation attorney to join its legal team in West Palm Beach, FL. This full-time, in-office position focuses on civil defense, including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, insurance coverage disputes, construction defects, and professional licensing matters. The ideal candidate will have experience handling all phases of litigation and a strong ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Duties:

• Manage personal injury defense cases from inception to resolution.

• Draft and respond to complaints, conduct discovery, and prepare legal motions.

• Take and defend depositions.

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.

• Advocate for clients in court hearings and trials.

• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and legal staff.

Requirements:

• 2 to 8 years of experience managing personal injury litigation cases.

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Commitment to professional growth and learning new areas of law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida State Bar (or eligibility for admission).

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and case analysis.

• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.

• Ability to effectively handle depositions, discovery, and motion practice.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Work Setting:
