Duties

• Provide legal counsel to clients on diverse legal matters

• Draft contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and similar platforms

• Prepare and develop litigation strategies and gather supporting evidence

• Stay current on federal and California state legal developments

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff for case management

• Maintain detailed and accurate client and case records

• Use legal technology and communications software to manage tasks efficiently

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

• Active membership with the California State Bar

• Ability to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week

• Experience in legal drafting and/or research preferred

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed

• Strong attention to detail and legal precision

• Analytical thinking and critical problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with MAC/iOS systems and modern legal software (preferred)

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills

• Legal writing and document drafting

• Case analysis and research

• Familiarity with LexisNexis, Westlaw, and Apple-based systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication
