A respected law firm is seeking a qualified Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its national and international insurance practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile matters advising insurance companies and representing them in complex coverage disputes. Duties

• Advise insurance carriers on a wide range of coverage issues

• Represent insurers in coverage litigation involving commercial general liability, professional liability, and other specialty lines

• Analyze complex policy language and claims facts to formulate coverage opinions

• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct written and oral discovery, including taking and defending depositions

• Appear at court hearings and argue motions

• Assist in strategy development for litigation and resolution of insurance coverage disputes

Requirements

• 2-5 years of insurance coverage experience at a law firm

• Proven background handling all stages of litigation, from pleadings through appeals

• Strong knowledge of California insurance law and litigation practice

• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar

• Trial experience is a plus

Education

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school

• Excellent academic credentials preferred

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California

• Additional bar admissions are a plus but not required
