Duties:

• Represent employers in litigation related to employment law, including defending against claims in court, arbitration, and mediation

• Advise and counsel clients on various employment and labor law matters

• Handle employment-related lawsuits and administrative agency charges

• Work on class actions and PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) matters

• Collaborate with clients to develop proactive strategies and policies to address employment law challenges

• Provide training to employers on legal compliance in the workplace

• Maintain strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional legal counsel

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in employment litigation, with a preference for candidates with a background in employment law

• Admission to the California Bar and in good standing

• Strong knowledge of both state and federal employment law and regulations

• Experience handling class actions and PAGA claims is a plus

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently while also being a team player in a collaborative work environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Excellent academic credentials

Certifications:

• Current California Bar admission

Skills:
