Duties:
Represent employers in litigation related to employment law, including defending against claims in court, arbitration, and mediation
Advise and counsel clients on various employment and labor law matters
Handle employment-related lawsuits and administrative agency charges
Work on class actions and PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) matters
Collaborate with clients to develop proactive strategies and policies to address employment law challenges
Provide training to employers on legal compliance in the workplace
Maintain strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional legal counsel
Requirements:
4-6 years of experience in employment litigation, with a preference for candidates with a background in employment law
Admission to the California Bar and in good standing
Strong knowledge of both state and federal employment law and regulations
Experience handling class actions and PAGA claims is a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently while also being a team player in a collaborative work environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Excellent academic credentials
Certifications:
Current California Bar admission
Skills:
