Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice on insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance policies, coverage agreements, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes through litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to resolve complex insurance coverage and reinsurance issues.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and relevant case law impacting insurance and reinsurance.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage insurance claims and resolve coverage disputes.
• Prepare and present legal arguments, motions, and briefs before courts and arbitration panels.
• Manage multiple insurance coverage matters efficiently, ensuring effective case management and resolution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in California.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and produce high-quality written work.
• Experience in handling insurance coverage disputes and litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in California.
