Job Overview: A Las Vegas, NV law firm seeks a highly skilled Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to defend and prosecute various employment-related claims. This role involves representing employers in court, administrative agencies, mediation, and arbitrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, excellent academic credentials, and a commitment to professionalism and teamwork.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.
• Provide advice and counsel to employers on various labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Prepare and manage litigation from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting discovery, and preparing witnesses for testimony.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies tailored to their business needs and objectives.
• Maintain detailed case records and documentation.

Requirements:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• A minimum of 4+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Active NV Bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.
• Understand current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.
• Proven track record of success in litigating complex employment matters.
