A law firm seeks a highly experienced Estate & Tax Planning Attorney with 14 years of practice advising individuals and families on sophisticated estate, gift, and tax planning matters. This role focuses on designing and implementing comprehensive planning strategies tailored to complex financial and family circumstances. Location: New York City

Duties

• Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies
• Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
• Design and implement sophisticated estate planning structures for high-net-worth clients
• Provide counsel on tax-efficient wealth transfer and asset protection strategies
• Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals
• Review and update existing estate plans to reflect changes in law or client circumstances
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice development as appropriate

Requirements

• 14 years of experience in estate and tax planning
• Extensive experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws affecting estate planning
• Ability to independently manage complex client matters

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in New York (in good standing)
