A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney in Omaha, Nebraska. The successful candidate will advocate for injured clients, manage personal injury cases, and achieve exceptional results through litigation and negotiation.

Duties

• Conduct thorough case investigations and gather evidence.
• Manage a caseload from consultation to resolution.
• Draft and file legal documents such as complaints and motions.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Prepare and present cases at trial when necessary.
• Develop tailored litigation strategies for clients.
• Stay current on laws and precedents affecting personal injury cases.
• Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals.
• Engage in business development and client relationship activities.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Nebraska, Iowa, and/or Kansas.
• 3-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven track record of successful case outcomes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and courtroom advocacy abilities.
• Experience with case management software and legal research tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with complex personal injury cases.
• Trial experience with demonstrable success.
• Record of community involvement and professional leadership.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Nebraska, Iowa, and/or Kansas.
