The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of litigation experience, exceptional writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to manage complex cases from inception through resolution.

Location:

• Oakland, CA

Duties:

• Handle a wide array of litigation cases on behalf of public and private sector clients

• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including trials

• Conduct legal research and draft high-quality motions, briefs, and legal memoranda

• Participate in oral arguments and hearings, with a focus on law and motion practice

• Engage in all aspects of discovery, including depositions and expert witness coordination

• Advise clients on legal risks and strategic considerations

• Collaborate with attorneys across disciplines within the firm

• Contribute to appellate briefs and writs of mandate, when applicable

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience in California

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex caseloads

• Experience conducting oral arguments and handling law and motion practice

• Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes

• Trial experience required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials

Certifications:

• Active member of the California State Bar
