LITIGATION ATTORNEY

Plaintiff's law firm that practices complex litigation from intake to Trial seeks an attorney with exceptional research and writing skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team, with little oversight.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Litigation experience - minimum 1 year;



• Excellent research and writing skills;



• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

DUTIES:

• All aspects of litigation from case intake up to and including Trial;



• Taking and defending depositions;



• Conducting discovery;



• Researching and writing all necessary pleadings;



• Filing and opposing motions, including dispositive motions;



• Court appearances;



• Preparing and opposing Trial pleadings, including jury instructions and motions in limine;



• Participating in Trial.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Very organized, with excellent follow through;



• Very detail-oriented and meticulous;



• Able to keep track of deadlines and meet them on time;



• Able to work independently without supervision and also as a member of a team;



• Able to solve problems independently.

SALARY:

• Commensurate with experience
