Duties

• Manage litigation matters involving insurance coverage disputes

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues related to insurance policies and claims

• Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, declination letters, and pleadings

• Develop and implement efficient and effective litigation and resolution strategies

• Communicate clearly and promptly with clients, maintaining a high standard of service

• Meet court-imposed and internal firm deadlines efficiently

Requirements

• 1+ years of litigation experience

• Insurance coverage experience preferred

• Federal court practice experience considered an asset

• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in the State of New York
