Duties

• Conduct and defend depositions independently.
• Handle court appearances with substantial independence.
• Propound and respond to written discovery requests.
• Draft pre-answer, discovery, and dispositive motions.
• Communicate promptly and effectively with clients.
• Manage a substantial caseload efficiently.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New York.
• 5-8 years of experience in civil litigation liability defense.
• Experience in Family Law, Sexual Abuse/Neglect, or Criminal Law preferred.
• Background in substantial motion practice or appeals preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• New York State Bar admission required.
