Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Attorney focused on Legal Analysis to support its growing legal team. This remote role centers around the analysis of immigration case files obtained via Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. The successful candidate will evaluate client histories and identify appropriate immigration relief or legal pathways. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys experienced in immigration law who excel in analytical work and are comfortable managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

• San Juan, Puerto Rico

Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal analysis of immigration files acquired through FOIA requests

• Review and assess client documents to determine eligibility for various forms of immigration relief

• Provide strategic recommendations for case progression

• Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff for quality control and consistency

• Stay current with immigration laws and procedural updates across practice areas

• Document findings in a clear and organized format for internal and client communication

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience practicing U.S. immigration law

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex immigration histories

• Active Bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction

• Ability to handle multiple cases with efficiency and accuracy

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, not mandatory

• Experience in areas such as family-based immigration, asylum, removal defense, and humanitarian relief

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and good-standing membership with a U.S. state bar
