A respected law firm is seeking a motivated Immigration Attorney with experience in consular processing and waiver applications to join its legal team in San Juan, PR. Location:

• San Juan, Puerto Rico

Duties:

• Manage a caseload focused on consular processing and waiver applications, including I-130, I-601A, I-601, I-212, and K-Visa petitions

• Prepare clients for consular interviews and USCIS interactions

• Represent clients before USCIS in applicable matters

• Review immigration application packets and ensure accuracy and completeness

• Supervise and coordinate with a team of paralegals to meet productivity and client service goals

• Provide strategic legal analysis to determine eligibility and case benefits

• Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting documentation for immigration filings

Requirements:

• 1 to 4 years of experience in immigration law

• Demonstrated experience handling consular processing and waiver cases

• Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently or in a team setting

• Experience working with legal support staff and managing workflow

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and research capabilities

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required

• Proficiency in case management software is a plus

• Client-centered approach with attention to detail and compliance
