Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm based in West Palm Beach, FL, is looking for an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This position involves handling a range of civil litigation cases with a focus on construction defects, general insurance defense, and first-party property litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, with experience in managing cases from the early stages through trial.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee a diverse caseload in civil litigation, particularly in construction defect, insurance defense, and property litigation matters
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Participate in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial motion practice, hearings, depositions, and trial preparation
• Represent clients in court hearings and depositions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategies
• Ensure compliance with all deadlines and legal standards throughout litigation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation
• Proven ability to handle cases from initiation through trial
• Experience in construction defect, insurance defense, and first-party property litigation is highly desirable
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in Florida

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience with legal research tools and databases
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively

Job Location:
