Location:

• San Jose, California

Duties:

• Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals

• Conduct strategic immigration consultations with potential clients

• Handle a full caseload, including preparation and filing of immigration applications

• Visit detention centers to conduct client intake and case evaluations

• Develop legal strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court or USCIS interviews

• Draft legal briefs and perform legal research for a variety of immigration cases

• Review and revise immigration application packets for accuracy and compliance

• Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration-related matters

• Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and communicate developments to clients and staff

Requirements:

• 1 to 4 years of immigration law experience

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases independently

• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar license in good standing in any U.S. state

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• High attention to detail and organizational proficiency

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Familiarity with case management software is a plus
