The ideal candidate will have substantial big law experience and play a key role in handling high-value real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and development matters. Duties

• Lead and support transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of real estate assets

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, and development agreements

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on deal structuring and closing strategies

• Manage due diligence processes, title and survey reviews, and coordination with third-party vendors

• Oversee junior associates and paralegals, providing guidance and supervision

Requirements

• 5–8 years of transactional real estate experience at a reputable law firm

• Substantive involvement in real estate development, joint ventures, and financing transactions

• Strong understanding of commercial real estate deal structures and closing processes

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar (Required)

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
