A reputable law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2–4 years of experience in trademark and copyright litigation to join its expanding Intellectual Property group. The ideal candidate will be based in Hartford, Connecticut, and will support a dynamic team working on high-profile intellectual property and complex commercial litigation matters for clients across various industries. This role offers a hybrid in-office/remote work schedule and the opportunity to collaborate with leading professionals in the IP legal space.

Handle litigation matters involving the Lanham Act, Copyright Act, and common law trademark infringement
Manage all phases of complex litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
Prepare cease and desist letters and provide pre-litigation brand protection strategies
Represent clients in trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB)
Draft and file takedown notices and Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) complaints
Collaborate with clients on intellectual property enforcement, licensing, and branding matters
Support senior attorneys and maintain client relations with a high level of professionalism
2–4 years of litigation experience focused on trademark and copyright matters
Experience in complex commercial litigation, including IP-related breach of contract and licensing disputes
Demonstrated experience with written discovery, document production, depositions, pleadings, and motion practice
Familiarity with TTAB procedures and online trademark/copyright enforcement preferred
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the Connecticut Bar in good standing (required)
Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (preferred but not required)
Strong legal research and analytical abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational proficiency
Client-focused mindset with strong advocacy skills
Ability to work on high-pressure and time-sensitive matters
