Duties

• Manage and support litigation efforts in both state and federal court systems

• Draft motions, memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents with minimal oversight

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic insights

• Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses for trial

• Participate in client interviews and help shape case narratives

• Collaborate with trial teams to develop arguments and courtroom strategies

• Assist in the coordination of investigations involving regulatory agencies or internal reviews

• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated litigation matters

Requirements

• 3-4 years of litigation experience at a law firm or equivalent setting

• The ideal candidate has experience handling a mix of commercial litigation, white collar defense and investigations, and securities litigation, and has experience in both state and federal court, researching and writing, drafting and leading hearings and motions, taking depositions, interviewing witnesses, and general litigation support.

• Strong track record of managing caseloads and supporting trial teams

• Solid understanding of procedural rules in both federal and state court systems

• Experience in complex commercial disputes, internal investigations, or financial litigation

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and operate with a high level of autonomy

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
