A law firm seeks an associate to join the Labor & Employment team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary practice, engaging in business development and client-facing activities while supporting career development and excellent client service.

Duties

• Collaborate with shareholders on diverse employment law matters.
• Engage in business development and client-facing activities.
• Participate in litigation, including motion practice and court appearances.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of employment law experience on the defense side.
• Experience in employment counseling with a management-side law firm.
• Solid litigation experience, including motion practice and court appearances.
• Strong research and brief writing skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Admitted to the California Bar.
