A leading law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Immigration Attorney to join its growing immigration practice in the Greater Los Angeles area. This role offers a valuable opportunity for an attorney early in their career to manage a diverse caseload, collaborate with a seasoned team of immigration attorneys and legal staff, and develop strong litigation, client advocacy, and case management skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to client success.

Explain immigration concepts clearly and develop strategic solutions for clients
Represent detained and non-detained individuals before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
Manage and oversee a diverse workload of immigration cases
Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at detention centers
Prepare and file various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions
Review immigration packets and applications for accuracy and completeness
Engage with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community-based organizations on immigration law updates
Meet with potential clients for consultations and develop tailored case strategies
Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony before immigration courts and USCIS
Conduct detailed legal analysis to determine case benefits
Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting documentation for immigration proceedings
1 to 4 years of experience practicing immigration law
Ability to manage and advance multiple legal cases efficiently
Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
Experience handling Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, detained matters, citizenship applications, and other USCIS-related filings
Familiarity with legal writing and preparation of legal briefs
Experience with case management software preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to clearly present complex immigration legal concepts to clients
High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
Effective case strategy development and problem-solving skills
