A reputable immigration law firm in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a motivated Immigration Attorney to join its expanding legal team. This role is an excellent opportunity for newly licensed attorneys or those with up to three years of experience to build a solid foundation in immigration law. The attorney will manage a caseload involving detained and non-detained clients and will work closely with senior attorneys and legal assistants on family-based petitions, removal defense, and humanitarian immigration matters.

Provide legal consultations and explain immigration concepts to clients
Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
Visit detention centers to conduct client intake interviews
Prepare and file a wide range of immigration applications, including:
Family-based petitions
Humanitarian relief applications
Naturalization and citizenship applications
EOIR filings
Review and revise immigration packets and legal filings
Coordinate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community organizations regarding immigration law developments
Meet with potential clients to conduct consultations and establish legal strategy
Prepare clients and witnesses for USCIS interviews and court testimony
Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting documentation
Maintain regular communication with clients and manage deadlines
0–3 years of experience practicing immigration law
Ability to manage a caseload and work independently while collaborating with a legal team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a passion for immigration advocacy
Willingness to travel locally to detention facilities as needed
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Admission to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (Arizona Bar membership preferred)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
Experience with USCIS applications, EOIR matters, and detained cases
Proficient in or willing to learn immigration case management software
Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
