Duties:

• Review incoming case files to determine strategy, outline case budgets, and establish next steps

• Analyze and fulfill requirements for pleadings and procedural documents

• Oversee and respond to discovery requests; coordinate document production

• Represent clients in depositions, court hearings, and other litigation milestones

• Prepare settlement evaluations and engage in negotiation processes

• Support trial preparation and execution as necessary

• Communicate effectively with support staff, including paralegals and assistants

• Maintain clear documentation and timely reporting of case progress

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience, ideally with a focus on insurance defense

• Active Georgia Bar membership

• Georgia residency (required for remote consideration)

• Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision

• Strong work ethic and dedication to client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia

Skills:

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Highly organized with a strong attention to procedural detail

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

• Familiarity with legal research tools and document management platforms

• Adaptability to a fast-paced legal environment

• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
