A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, with a strong technical background, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. The role requires a detail-oriented and motivated individual with excellent academic credentials, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Represent clients in complex intellectual property litigation matters, focusing on patent and other IP-related disputes.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various IP issues.
• Manage case files and maintain communication with clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy development.
• Provide advice on IP strategy, including patent prosecution and IP portfolio management.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
• Strong technical background, with a preference for an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC, or eligibility for reciprocity.
