Duties

• Assume responsibility for stalled pre-litigation files.
• Develop and execute structured negotiation strategies.
• Position cases for potential bad-faith exposure.
• Enforce carrier response deadlines and maintain negotiation momentum.
• Draft and file complaints and manage discovery processes.
• Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, and key witnesses.
• Prepare and argue discovery motions as needed.
• Evaluate expert needs and case valuation throughout litigation.
• Prepare arbitration briefs and conduct arbitrations within Nevada's court-annexed arbitration program.
• Participate in mediations and negotiate resolutions at all litigation stages.
• Prepare minor compromise petitions when required.

Requirements

• Licensed Nevada attorney in good standing.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience independently handling written discovery.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience handling court-annexed arbitrations.
• Demonstrated negotiation skill and case valuation ability.
• Ability to manage 30-60 active litigation files efficiently, with paralegal assistance.
• Close attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
