Location:

• St. Louis, MO

Duties:

• Manage discovery by drafting, reviewing, and responding to discovery requests.
• Prepare and respond to motions and legal memoranda, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Conduct background investigations to support case development.
• Coordinate and manage meetings with clients, attorneys, and expert witnesses.
• Perform in-depth legal research to support case strategies.
• Analyze and review medical records to strengthen cases.
• Write clear and concise case analyses and reports for clients.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in civil litigation defense.
• Admission to the Missouri Bar is required; Illinois Bar admission is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to write and present well-reasoned legal arguments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize a complex caseload.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Collaborative team player with a cooperative approach to work.

Education:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Missouri Bar membership in good standing.
• Illinois Bar membership preferred but not required.
