A respected law firm in Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled Immigration Attorney with a strong focus on legal writing and appellate practice. This role centers on preparing detailed and persuasive filings for EOIR, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and federal circuit courts. Ideal candidates will have at least four years of experience handling complex immigration matters, including motions to reopen, appeals, and FOIA-related cases. The position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative immigration team in a firm dedicated to high standards and client advocacy.

Draft detailed legal memorandums, appeals, and motions to reopen for immigration cases
Prepare and file appellate briefs with EOIR, BIA, and federal circuit courts
Handle complex matters involving FOIA requests and apply findings to case strategy
Conduct legal research and draft arguments involving removal defense and relief applications
Collaborate with attorneys and legal assistants to develop compelling case narratives
Manage individual caseload, deadlines, and client communication
Maintain organized case files and ensure adherence to procedural and court requirements
Stay up to date with changes and trends in immigration law, particularly in appellate contexts
4–5 years of experience in immigration law, with a strong emphasis on legal writing and appellate practice
Demonstrated experience drafting appeals before EOIR, BIA, and federal circuit courts
In-depth knowledge of motions to reopen and FOIA-related legal strategy
Ability to handle complex legal issues independently and manage multiple active cases
Experience collaborating with legal teams in high-volume environments
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active membership in a U.S. state bar (Nevada preferred or eligibility for prompt admission)
Outstanding legal writing and analytical research abilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to craft persuasive appellate arguments
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Effective communicator with both clients and colleagues
Familiarity with immigration case management software (preferred)
