Duties

• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and parenting time

• Provide compassionate and customized legal counsel to clients in emotionally complex situations

• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court hearings and trials

• Draft, file, and organize legal pleadings, motions, and other relevant documents

• Manage case files efficiently and maintain timely communication with clients

• Ensure the highest level of client service and advocacy throughout each case

Requirements

• Experience handling family law matters preferred

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Strong commitment to client-centered legal service

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan (required)
