Job Overview:

A well-established mid-sized law firm located in Denver is seeking an experienced Colorado licensed litigation attorney to join its Litigation Department. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases, including commercial real estate, business disputes, labor and employment, construction, and franchise litigation. The ideal candidate should be experienced in trial and/or arbitration and eager to grow their client base.

Location:

• Denver, Colorado

Duties:

• Represent clients at all stages of the litigation process
• Manage and lead cases in various areas of civil litigation, including commercial real estate, business disputes, labor and employment, construction, and franchise litigation
• Prepare for and participate in trials and arbitrations
• Conduct depositions and witness examinations
• Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in a fast-paced environment
• Build and maintain client relationships, with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow an existing practice

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on areas such as commercial real estate, business disputes, labor and employment, construction, and franchise litigation
• Trial and/or arbitration experience is a must
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent clients

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Colorado in good standing

Certifications:

• Admission to the Colorado State Bar (in good standing)

• Proven trial and arbitration experience
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective witness examination and deposition skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage complex cases and interact with clients professionally
