A well-established personal injury law firm is seeking a Case Development Intake Attorney to join its team. This full-time role is ideal for an entry-level attorney looking to develop their litigation skills while managing early-stage case development. The attorney will oversee a docket of approximately 50 personal injury matters, guiding cases from intake through investigation and preparing them for litigation.

Manage a personal docket of ~50 pre-litigation personal injury cases
Investigate cases including accident scene review, evidence preservation, and photo documentation
Obtain reports, records, and statements such as accident reports, property damage estimates, and witness testimonies
Draft and send letters of representation and open records requests
Perform client and opposing party background checks and social media investigations
Assist clients in developing medical damages and handle property damage claims
Communicate with clients and adjusters to provide case updates and guidance
Prepare and review demand packages, manage settlement efforts in certain cases
Ensure all communications and documentation align with firm protocols
Handle after-hours or off-site client sign-ups, including using electronic signature tools when needed
Supervise assigned case manager and ensure compliance with ethical/legal standards
0–3 years of experience, preferably in personal injury law
Willingness to be on-call for after-hours new client intake
Strong client-service mindset with excellent follow-through
Experience supervising support staff preferred
Comfortable with occasional out-of-office responsibilities (e.g., sign-ups, investigations)
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the State of Texas and in good standing
Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong written and verbal communication
Excellent time management and organizational skills
High emotional intelligence and client empathy
Competence in legal research and evidence development
Sales and persuasion skills for engaging new clients
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Ability to motivate and lead support staff effectively
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
