A reputable law firm in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking a seasoned Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney to advocate for injured individuals in a compassionate and justice-driven environment. This role requires extensive experience in personal injury litigation, with a focus on managing cases from inception to pretrial.

Duties

• Handle personal injury cases for plaintiffs, guiding each case from inception through the pretrial phase.
• Conduct investigations, assess claims, draft legal documents, and represent clients in negotiations to secure fair compensation.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients, ensuring their rights are protected throughout the litigation process.
• Evaluate potential cases to determine eligibility, establishing a tailored approach for each case.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and craft compelling arguments to bolster client cases.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and fellow attorneys to manage caseloads effectively and meet all deadlines.
• Maintain meticulous case files, documentation, and communications with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.

Requirements

• Bar Admission: Must hold a valid New Jersey Bar license; additional state admissions are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in personal injury law, with proven ability to manage cases from start to pretrial stages.
• Trial Experience: Previous trial experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Education

• Degree: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Required: Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in personal injury case management and litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and legal argumentation skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities in case management.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
