Duties

• Represent clients in complex commercial real estate transactions, including lender and borrower-side deals.
• Handle leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures.
• Provide legal guidance on real estate finance matters to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Negotiate, draft, and review agreements related to real estate financing.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering strategic legal counsel on complex real estate issues.
• Assist clients with risk management, due diligence, and other aspects of real estate finance.
• Manage and oversee transactions from start to finish, ensuring efficient and effective execution.

Requirements

• Senior attorney with significant experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Experience with lender and borrower-side transactions, leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures is a plus.
• Bar admission needed.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic counsel to clients.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients and maintain strong client relationships.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law.
